Accutool and Lisnabrin bring approximately 48,000 sq ft of Irish manufacturing capability into Kaleidex and establish its presence in one of the world’s most important medtech markets
27 August 2026, London, UK / Dublin & Cork, Ireland: Kaleidex has acquired Accutool Ltd and Lisnabrin Engineering Ltd in its largest investments to date. Together, the two businesses bring approximately 48,000 sq ft of manufacturing capacity across Dublin and Cork into the Kaleidex group, alongside highly skilled teams, specialist manufacturing capabilities and decades of Irish precision engineering heritage.
The acquisitions advance Kaleidex’s strategy to build the scale and capability required to cement themselves as a trusted manufacturing partner to leading medtech businesses. Ireland is central to that ambition, with one of the world’s strongest concentrations of major medical technology OEMs and an ecosystem of specialist suppliers, technical expertise and talent.
This local presence gives customers in Ireland greater access to Kaleidex’s growing range of capabilities, while positioning the group closer to the medtech businesses it supports. Kaleidex intends to build on that presence through continued investment in people, equipment, technology and capacity.
Accutool
Founded in 1985, Accutool is a precision engineering business headquartered at a 25,000 sq ft facility in Dublin and a 3,000 sq ft facility in Cork, combining advanced production capability with extensive design and engineering expertise.
Accutool supports highly regulated industries including medical devices and biopharmaceuticals, with capabilities spanning precision CNC machining, design engineering, tooling, machine building, assembly, testing, and fabrication. The business has extensive experience within medical manufacturing, including the production of orthopaedic implant components.
Lisnabrin Engineering
Founded in 2001 by Margaret and Steve Martin, Lisnabrin Engineering is a specialist precision manufacturing business based in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork. Operating from a purpose built 20,000 sq ft facility, Lisnabrin supports customers across the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, providing precision-engineered tooling, prototypes and components.
Its capabilities include CNC machining, Wire EDM, turning, laser welding and marking, electropolishing and metrology. Since its foundation, Lisnabrin has grown from a one-person operation to a team of more than 50.

Both Accutool and Lisnabrin will continue to operate from their existing sites in Ireland, retaining their teams, expertise and customer relationships. As part of Kaleidex, the businesses will benefit from continued investment, while customers gain access to an increasingly broad range of specialist medical manufacturing capabilities across the group. The acquisitions extend Kaleidex’s international footprint, adding substantial capacity in Ireland alongside its existing specialist businesses in the United Kingdom and Germany. They also increase the scale of the group as it continues to build a stronger manufacturing platform for leading medtech businesses.
