Kaleidex Group returned to Medical Technology UK 2026 at the Coventry Building Society Arena, bringing together expertise from across its businesses to showcase the strength and collaborative power of its growing MedTech offering. The event offered an opportunity not only to exhibit, but also to connect with engineers, innovators and partners across the UK’s medical technology sector.
The Kaleidex exhibition space reflected the group’s expanding capabilities across precision engineering, device development and manufacturing. Representatives from Kirkstall Precision Engineering, Oracle Precision, OxDevice and Serrations were present throughout, demonstrating how the businesses work both independently and collectively to support medical device innovation.
Adam Thornton, Commercial Lead at Kaleidex Group, commented: “Medical Technology UK is always a key date in the calendar for us. It allows us to bring the full Kaleidex story to life, not just what each business does individually, but how we come together to support customers across the entire product lifecycle.”
A key highlight was a presentation from Duncan Keeble of OxDevice, titled, “How to Successfully Transfer Your Medical Device Design to a Contract Manufacturer.” The session generated strong engagement and led to a number of follow up discussions with companies looking to bridge the gap between design and scalable manufacture.
At the centre of this is the integrated ecosystem that Kaleidex is building across the medical device development value chain. OxDevice plays a pivotal role within this model, acting as the front end of innovation and supporting customers in navigating the complexity of bringing a device from concept through to manufacture.
Duncan’s talk reflected this directly, focusing on how to expertly navigate the challenges of design transfer, enabled by the wider capabilities of the group. Supported by precision engineering, tooling, assembly and manufacturing, OxDevice is the leading edge of a connected model that brings together disciplines often fragmented across multiple suppliers. This alignment of design, development and production within a single structure is what defines the Kaleidex proposition.
Across both days, the stand saw a steady flow of visitors, with conversations ranging from early-stage concept development through to full scale manufacturing.
Gavin Meadows, CEO of Kaleidex Group, said: “What stood out was the quality of the conversations. There is a clear demand for partners who can help navigate the complexity of the medical device development journey. That is exactly why Kaleidex exists. We are building an integrated ecosystem across the value chain, with OxDevice at the forefront, supported by the strength of the wider group, to give customers a more seamless route to market.”
Day two saw continued momentum, with further representation from Oracle Precision strengthening the group’s presence and reinforcing the collaborative nature of the Kaleidex model.
Shaun Palmer of Oracle Precision added: “Being part of Kaleidex allows us to bring multiple specialisms together in one place and have more meaningful conversations with customers about what they are trying to achieve.”
With strong engagement and a number of promising conversations underway, Kaleidex leaves Medical Technology UK 2026 with real momentum, focused on supporting innovators in turning ideas into real world medical technologies.
