New group-wide role will strengthen strategic customer relationships and help connect customers to the full breadth of Kaleidex capabilities.
Kaleidex Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Shaun Palmer as International Key Account Manager, a new group-wide role that reflects the continued growth of the business and its ambition to build even stronger, more connected relationships with customers across the organisation.

Shaun has played a central role in the success of Oracle Precision from the very beginning. As Co-Founder and Commercial Director, he has helped establish Oracle as a trusted precision engineering partner known for its customer focus, technical expertise and ability to deliver in highly regulated, quality-critical sectors. His move into a wider Kaleidex role will enable the group to benefit from that experience on a broader scale, while continuing to support Oracle’s ongoing development.
In his new position, Shaun will work across the Kaleidex Group to strengthen strategic customer partnerships, identify opportunities for greater collaboration between group companies, and help customers access the full range of capabilities available across the organisation. He will play an important role in supporting both organic growth and the wider ambitions of the group as Kaleidex continues to expand its reach, its offering and its impact.
Importantly, Shaun will remain closely involved with Oracle Precision. Customers and colleagues will continue to benefit from his knowledge, relationships and commercial insight, ensuring continuity while creating new opportunities through closer integration with the wider group.
Gavin Meadows, CEO of Kaleidex Group, said:
“Shaun is one of the most respected commercial leaders across our entire industry. He has built steadfast customer relationships throughout his career and played a pivotal role in establishing Oracle Precision as the award-winning business it is today. I’m delighted that he’s committed his future to Kaleidex, and I couldn’t think of a better person to lead our relationships with our most strategic customers as we expand our capabilities and continue to grow.”
Shaun Palmer added:
“Oracle has always been built on long-term relationships, trust and a close understanding of what customers need from a manufacturing partner.
Taking on this role across Kaleidex gives me the opportunity to bring those same principles into a wider group context, helping customers access broader capability, deeper expertise and more joined-up support across the product lifecycle.
It is an exciting step, both personally and for the group, and I am looking forward to working more closely across the businesses to create even greater value for customers.”
Shaun’s appointment represents more than a change in role. It reflects Kaleidex Group’s commitment to developing talent from within, sharing expertise across its businesses and creating greater value for customers through collaboration.
As the group continues its next phase of growth, this appointment strengthens Kaleidex’s ability to offer customers not just individual specialist capabilities, but a more connected and strategically aligned manufacturing partner.

The communication between your technical team and our R&D team is great. I also feel your speed as a business to address functional prototypes has been superb… rapid prototyping is more than just fulfilling the order at pace, it involves real partnership between Kirkstall’s technical machining team and the design engineer to find the best fit between desire and reality, and for the business needs, to do this as fast as possible”

Innovating for a healthier, active future.
Looking ahead, the demand for high-precision medical devices will only grow as the population continues to age and seek active lifestyles. Meeting this demand requires a marriage of medical insight and engineering innovation.
Kaleidex is proud to be at this intersection, partnering with orthopaedic surgeons, medical device companies, and healthcare providers to deliver the tools that make modern surgeries possible. Whether it’s an IM Femoral Alignment Jig for a knee replacement or any number of other surgical instruments, our focus remains on driving innovation and reliability in medical manufacturing.
The result of this focus is tangible in people’s lives. A grandmother can dance at her granddaughter’s wedding because her knee replacement was guided with utmost accuracy. A middle-aged marathon enthusiast can run again after a well-aligned joint repair. A young athlete can have confidence that surgical hardware will support their return to play.
These success stories start with a vision of improving quality of life and are realized through precise execution at every step, from design, to manufacturing, to the skilled hands of a surgeon.
Medical devices like the IM Femoral Alignment Jig play a pivotal role in improving patient outcomes. They support mobility by enabling surgeries that eliminate pain and restore function. They reduce recovery time by facilitating surgical precision, leading to less invasive procedures and quicker rehab.
And they enable longer, more fulfilling lives by helping implants last longer and patients stay active into older age. As the healthcare sector rises to meet the needs of an ageing and active population, advanced precision engineering is key.
